Fall has had some fun units in preschool. We had a great time at the pumpkin patch and now we are working on Thanksgiving themes. The children have been doing such a good job on their work. We reviewed the letters we have done so far and I was surprised how well the kids did remembering the letter name and sound! It is so fun to watch them progress.
I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving break. I am thankful for all of your kids. They are such a great group. It has been so fun teaching them this year. Thank you for contributing to our Thanksgiving basket for the food bank as well. It is such a wonderful way for your kids to learn about giving and it is very appreciated by the food bank and its patrons.
On a random note, we have been doing a lot of painting in preschool lately. The kids always wear paint aprons when the paint, but with the colder weather the long sleeves sometimes end up getting paint on them. The paints we use are always washable and should come right out. Please let me know if you ever have an item that gets paint on it that won't come out. I know I have a hard time getting the black out. I try to pull up the kids sleeves and keep them clean, but sometimes the paint still gets on them.
